First Nations Family in an Interior
Oil on board inscribed at bottom right "An Indian warrior preparing for the War Path" and signed bottom left "Bettridge", circa 1870. The warrior is stringing his bow in his teepee with an arrow quiver on the ground and his shield to one side while a woman and a child holding a tomahawk look on.
